Personal Description:
Hello, my name is Noreen, and I have a BA, MA, and PhD in Italian Studies from UCD and UCC.
Tutoring Experience:
I have twenty years' experience as a language teacher and lecturer. After my BA, I qualified as an English teacher and taught at language schools in Italy and Ireland. I am also qualified as an Italian language teacher (DITALS, University of Siena), and have taught Italian language and literature to undergraduate and Masters students at UCD and UCC. I was awarded UCC's President's Award for Teaching Excellence in 2023.
Approach to Grinds:
I have worked extensively on a one-to-one basis with students working towards various goals, from preparing for university exams to developing confidence speaking. In our first lesson, I would ensure I understand exactly what your objectives are, then I would tailor a course to meet your needs.
