Kia ora and nǐ hǎo!
My name is Katelina. I am a native Mandarin speaker from China, and I have lived in New Zealand for over 10 years with my Kiwi husband. This means I have a deep understanding of both cultures, which helps me make Mandarin learning clear, fun, and relevant for students here.

I provide lessons that are tailored to each learner’s goals - whether you’re wanting to improve conversational skills, learning for business or travel, or introducing your children to a new language. I focus on building confidence step by step, combining language practice with cultural insights.

I welcome students of all ages and levels, and I pride myself on being patient, approachable, and supportive.
