My name is Aarani and I am a final year medical student at St. George's University of London. I have been passionate about tutoring since 2017 and have taken more students this year due to my flexible placement schedules.
I have 7+ years of experience tutoring students in all stages. I am currently teaching SAT, 11+ students as well as STEM subjects for GCSEs and A-Levels. I have also previously worked at a tuition centre in East London for two years before deciding to move online.
I am highly experienced in online teaching as I have been tutoring for students from across the globe. It makes education extremely accessible, more cost effective and enhances the customised learning experience. I am very familiar with today's technology allowing to organise more interactive lessons that are proven to be more efficient.
My favourite approach to tutoring is always adapting my lessons according to the student's needs and areas for improvement by preparing my lessons ahead. I am able to relate to my students while assigning appropriate tasks to ensure they are motivated and working hard to achieve the end goal. I also give career advice to students who are interested in medicine.
My daily tasks include:
•Working with students to improve their skills in chosen subjects
•Identify students’ individual learning needs and adapting accordingly
•Prepare lessons, assign and correct homework
•Monitoring progress and giving feedback
