Hi there! I'm a fifth-year medical student at University College London (UCL), having recently obtained an intercalated BSc in Medical Sciences with Management at Imperial College Business School.
The sciences and Medicine have always been an inherent source of fascination for me. It's a real pleasure for me to be able to contribute towards and accelerate my students' learning of these incredibly vital and valuable disciplines. My interests also include a variety of extracurricular pursuits, many athletic and sports-related such as cricket and football. Within the former of which I have several years' experience in positions of leadership and at elite level.
From my natural charisma and refined communication skills to the experiences garnered from my outstanding across-the-board exam results, I am in a very robust position to ensure the success of my students.
For the best part of nearly 5 years now I have been helping students navigate their respective courses, in each case tailoring my teaching what I judge to be the specific needs of the student.
My tutoring portfolio has previously consisted of the sciences and Mathematics, with special interests in Biology and Chemistry. Additionally I have also provided other services, such as those involved with medical school admissions as well as preparation for their respective interviews.
The breadth and depth of experience I have of recent examination structures and content, as well as my aptitude for teaching and guidance has always allowed my to facilitate my students' success.
Success in any field is largely dependent on a robust knowledge of fundamental principles and concepts, as well as being able to apply these to previously unseen cases. Allowing my students to engage with these central themes and traverse them with my guidance is one of the cornerstones of my teaching.
Equally as pivotal, the significance of a deep understanding of exam technique and structure will never go unnoticed by me. From my experience of sitting exams in these subjects, I have gathered awareness of the question papers' nuances and what each question is specifically asking for. As such, I make it a point to ensure my students undergo ample exam practice.
