Hi, my name is Aaryush and I’m a second year student studying medicine at University College London.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring for 5+ years, at various different companies including MyTutor and RightTrack Services.
I studied at Westcliff High School for Boys (Grammar School) for 7 years, all the way from Year 7 to Year 13.
I achieved 12 9s at GCSE and 5 A*s at A-Level (as well as an A* for my extended project qualification).

Tutoring Approach

I have experience tutoring students 1 on 1, as well as tutoring larger groups of students. I also have experience with SEN students, having volunteered and taught at an SEN school for 2 years during sixth form.
I like to engage my students, and I ask them questions throughout the lesson.
Before I start tutoring a student consistently, I give them a mini test to see exactly what level they are at, and then tailor my lessons based specifically on the needs of the student.

A normal lesson would look like this:
First 10-15 minutes = theory behind chosen topic.
Next 10-15 minutes = I help you do questions; we do
questions together.
Next 20-25 minutes = you do questions on your own,
and I will be available to answer any queries.
Last 5-10 minutes = review of lesson outcomes.
