Hoi Sin Abbie

Hi my name is Abbie, I currently finish my Alevel who has achieve A*AAA in Biology, Chemisty, psychology and EPQ. I am passionate about helping students building their confidence in their studies, especially in preparing for Alevels. I am a fluent speaker in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, which I am able to teach in these languages.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored a year 12 student when I was in Year 13, I helped him to understand the concepts by breaking it down into clear, simple explanations and I also taught him about exam techniques i.e. the keywords and points that the examiner is looking for and essay structure, which I have effectively increase his grades from a C to an A in his year 12 end of year test.

Tutoring Approach

As someone who has recently gone through the exam process, I understand the challenges students face and know how to make revision more effective, structured, and less stressful. My teaching style is friendly and supportive — I focus on breaking down complex concepts into clear, simple explanations, while also sharing exam techniques and practice strategies.
