Abigail

In 2023 I graduated with a degree in English Literature from The University of Birmingham. Throughout the course I studied Classic works of Literature, Poetry and Greek Tragedy. I work hard and to a high standard, achieving all A's at A Level in English Literature, Classical Civilisation and Psychology and all A*s at GCSE Level with 9's in both English's. I am an avid reader, and I am very passionate about English Literature- I think that the subject is very important and the skills learnt through Literature can be useful in future endeavours. I also studied Classical Civilisation alongside my English Degree and still hold a high level of knowledge in this subject. I would love to spark an interesr for the subject within a client- seeing reading and writing about important works as a valuable skill.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked with children before, volunteering as a theatre facilitator for children in low income areas with complex needs; I helped them to improve their confidence and feel supported despite their situations.

Tutoring Approach

I would love to create a good relationship with the client, being able to support them academically whilst also being a personable and kind tutor. I work well with children who may feel anxious about their academics, helping to boost their passion and enjoyment for the subject.
