Achvini was extremely professional yet friendly. I still believe she was instrumental in my getting a place to study Medicine. She tutored my through the entry exams and the interview process and it boosted my confidence and ability a lot. I highly recommend her.

Achvini helped me with my Neuroscience Masters dissertation immensely. I was struggling with structuring it and ensuring that it was coherent and had a logical structure. I got a distinction for my dissertation and I still use the tips she taught me on writing to this day.

I have known Achvini for 10 years now. I have followed every bit of her journey whether it related to studies/career/talents since we were at University studying Biomedical Sciences together. She is someone I have always gone to for help whether is understanding a lecture, proof reading my personal statements, career talks and much more. I’ve always been admired by how she gives more than 100% into everything. She is very consistent and dedicated towards every responsibility she undertakes. She puts her heart and soul into the support she gives those that seek her help.

Achvini has helped me in writing my personal statement by making it more cohesive and more enticing. I have received offers from all of my universities which I applied for thanks to her help.
Thishana
Hi my name is Thishana, Achvini is my tutor, she is such a great tutor. She tutored me for gcse and currently a-levels sciences, without her it would have been impossible for me to get A*s in gcse sciences. I highly recommend you to select Achvini as your tutor. She uses different styles of teaching which helps me so much, e.g. drawings, mind maps and etc. Her style of teaching is very effective. She provides exam papers, advice on UCAS personal statements and etc.

I believe Achvini is an asset to First Tutors. I had been tutored by her for almost 2 years during my higher secondary education. In this period, she taught me all the science content in an easy-to-understand manner and she had the intellectual capacity to answer any and every single question I had. Her ability to teach very well and make concepts understandable for anyone of any standard, is what makes her an excellent tutor and teacher for those in need of it.
Kashmini
Achvini has been my tutor, in sciences, for almost five years. We were introduced by a friend of my mother’s. Over the years I had found that her teaching had worked well for me and not once did I have any worries with her teaching. I never felt too pressured or stressed to gain specific results. She was a great tutor, strict but not too strict and very encouraging, which helped me immensely with my studies. I would definitely recommend her teaching if you feel you work well one to one. So over the, almost, five years I can say with certainty that Achvini is a very trustworthy teacher.

I like to take an individualised approach to teaching by focusing on what works best for the student.
I initially identify both strengths and weaknesses in the subjects and ensure they have a good grasp on the basics to help them develop their thinking process.
I also like to identify what the student's interests are and use that as a tool to help them grasp concepts and remember facts.
