Tutoring Experience

I achieved a first class degree in Chemistry from University of Birmingham and was awarded the head of school award at the end of my final year. From 2019-2024, I worked at an ​Ofsted outstanding school in ​central London.

In 2022 and 2023 it ​was ranked in the top 0.1% of ​schools nationwide for progress. My students regularly achieve ​exceptional results, with over half of ​my 2023 cohort achieving at least one grade above target, and one fifth ​achieving two grades above target. Russell Group universities, including ​Oxbridge, are common destinations ​for my students, who go on to study a ​wide range of subjects, including ​chemistry and medicine.

As well as teaching, I led the school’s ​medicine society. As such, I am well ​equipped to help you navigate the ​route for this competitive career. I offer virtual ​GCSE, A level and International ​Baccalaureate tutoring sessions to ​students worldwide. While my main ​experience is with the OCR ​specification, I can adapt to whichever ​exam board you may be studying with ​ease.

Tutoring Approach

• GCSE, A level or IB all taught, all exam boards welcome. I also offer get into medicine sessions!

• Student-centred, flexible approach suiting all content to your needs!

• Resources and practice provided for all sessions via an online shared drive.

• All sessions online for your convenience!

• 5 years of experience at an OFSTED outstanding school in the top 0.1% of schools for progress, with experience as an A level science coordinator.

• All abilities welcome whether you're looking to catch up on content or push for deeper understanding needed for an A*.

• In 2014, over half of my Y13 students achieved at least one grade above their target grade with one in five achieving two or more grades above so if you choose me as a tutor you'll be in safe hands!

• All lengths possible for sessions from 30 - 120 mins.
