Hi! I'm a University student in my final year of studying French at Queen Mary University of London. I love the French language and would like to share this passion with others. I offer tutoring primarily for French GCSE and A-level but also for younger students as well. I want to help students improve their language skills and provide them with great learning tools for the future and in general.
I have experience helping students online and in my local area to achieve their best grade possible at GCSE and A-level. Teaching English in La Réunion (French overseas territory) gave me the opportunity to work in groups with French-speaking students at the local university. This broadened my tutoring abilities by creating lessons that discussed the broader social, economic and political topics within both francophone and anglophone societies, as well as cultural differences.
I believe that being in my final year of French at Queen Mary is an advantage because my linguistic skills are sharp, accurate and relevant. I am also up to date with the curriculum for GCSE and A-level.
I like to get to know my students first before structuring lessons so that I can better understand them and adapt the lessons to their individual needs. I also like to revise the basics with my students so that we can build a solid foundation for future learning.
I make my lessons fun, interactive and provide a non-judgemental safe space for all.
