Want to get into medical school and need help with your application? Or help navigating through medical school exams, SJT, PSA, OSCEs and the like? Want to get into your first choice university and secure your first choice job afterwards?
I am a medical doctor, currently working in Manchester, having moved from East of England where I worked for 3 years. I graduated from University College London with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2019. Prior to that in 2016, I got my Bachelor of Science in Orthopaedics at the Institute of Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Science. Before university, I completed the IB Diploma Programme achieving top scores in all the higher level subjects including biology and chemistry. I successfully applied and got into my first choice university - UCL. I have over 3 years of experience tutoring and helping medical, physician associate and nursing students with their studies, exams, applications and confidence.
Aside from clinical practice, I have strong interest in education and teaching. Since qualifying, I have successfully tutored students at various stages of their training. I teach both in person and online; individually, in small or large groups, depending on the setting.
I am currently working with University of Manchester as a Communication Skills Tutor to help students develop and improve their communication skills in difficult situations.
I can help guide you through the demanding process of getting into medical school, writing a personal statement, preparing for medical school admissions tests (think BMAT etc), and securing an interview.
I can help break down concepts taught at medical school, help you with the theory (think anatomy, physiology, pathology) and the practical component (think communication skills, clinical skills, OSCEs). From experience I know how overwhelming and challenging medical school can be - content heavy with many deadlines, stressful simulation teaching and long exams. I will help you identify your goals, show you how to prioritise when studying, make the content more approachable, and teach you some memorisation techniques. We can do some simulated training where you can practice your communication skills, clinical skills etc.
Finally, if you are looking to secure your first choice job, I can help you with the finals, Situational Judgment Test aka SJT, Prescribing Safety Assessment aka PSA, navigate you through ranking jobs and give you insight into various deaneries.
I can also help with specialty exam preparation (think MRCP and the like).

If you need help with the application process for medical school or landing your first choice job, we will make sure to cover all the necessary steps, make a plan of action and work towards it.
