Hi! My name's Aimee and I've been tutoring since 2009. I'm currently a part-time PhD research student in nuclear materials at the University of Bristol.
I have been tutoring part-time since 2008 and Full-time since 2021. I love teaching, and have supported over 70 students through 1200+ lesson from Primary to University. I have experience teaching A-level, Highers and Advanced Highers physics, maths and further maths across all boards as well as Nat 5, Nat 4, GCSE, P7-S3 and KS3 Science, statistics and maths, and the 11+.
I have a DBS check and have taken, and am continuing to take, many online courses to help improve my tutoring skills to ensure I can provide students with the best experience.
I have a flexible approach I can take to tutoring which I adapt to each student.
The pandemic has shaken up the learning path of students of all ages, and I understand how important it is to rebuild the confidence a student needs to reach their potential. I try to foster a friendly and positive attitude towards learning to make the whole process more enjoyable. I truly believe learning can be a joy for anyone, and many just need a patient guide to help them find their passion.
If you'd like to discuss tutoring with me, feel free to arrange a meeting!
