Hi, I’m Aimee.

I’m a friendly, supportive tutor, specialising in GCSE PE and English.

Teaching is my passion and as well as helping my students reach their potential, I want them to develop their confidence and feel motivated to succeed.

Tutoring Experience

As a senior leader in a large secondary school, I have over 12 years teaching experience leading a successful PE department and teaching KS3 English and Science.

PE - As an ex- head of PE, I am most familiar with the Edexcel exam board and can support with exam prep, getting the most out of a question, as well as coursework support.

English - I can support in developing general reading and writing skills. Or can work in supporting with a specific text.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is personalised. I like to get to know my students and how best they learn, so that I can adapt my lessons to suit their needs. Each of us learn in different ways, and this is reflected in my delivery. I will start by assessing the learners current learning and their goals, before developing tailored sessions to help them progress. With the use of visual aids, interactive activities and practical exercises, my aim is to make the lesson engaging and meaningful.
