As a seasoned educator with ten years of teaching experience and a proud Londoner, I am dedicated to empowering students to reach their full potential. Outside of the classroom, I find joy in creative writing, dog walks, and exploring new destinations.
With a decade of teaching experience, I've honed my skills in designing and implementing courses, particularly in Creative Writing at A Level. My expertise extends to teaching literature up to A Level, where I've inspired students to engage deeply with texts. Additionally, I spearheaded the establishment of the Media and Film department during my three-year tenure as Head of Department. Under my leadership, the department achieved excellent results, consistently boasting 95-100% A*-B grades.
My approach to education is centered on fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment where students feel empowered to explore their passions and reach their full potential. I believe in tailoring teaching methods to individual student needs, encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and active engagement with the subject matter. Through supportive pedagogy, I challenge students to push their boundaries and strive for excellence. Whether it's through dynamic course design, interactive discussions, or personalized feedback, I strive to inspire a lifelong love for learning and equip students with the skills and confidence they need to succeed both academically and beyond.
