I have a BSC degree in Infection Biology and a Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) Primary Education. Both my degrees were completed and proudly awarded at the University of Glasgow. I am registered with The General Teaching Council and I am a member of the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Group) scheme, allowing me to legally work with children. After completing my Masters-level qualification, I look forward to continuing my passion in teaching primary aged children through teaching in schools and offering one-on-one private tuition. I believe teaching children is about creating a vibrant, positive, nurturing learning environment where one can thrive and develop all the important necessary skills which will have a positive and brighter impact on their future. I have experience in teaching all subjects in the primary curriculum.
After having 4 beautiful children I can strongly say I fully understand children's psychology and to see children respond to me in a positive manner is always rewarding. I am also passionate about my health and well being, regularly I attend fitness classes and like to follow a healthy balanced diet. In addition, I am also bilingual in Urdu and Punjabi and can recite Arabic. Other than primary subjects I am also available to teach Urdu or Arabic religious scripture to young children.
I look forward to continuing to inspire children and playing a positive role in their lives through effective learning.

I am a qualified Primary Teacher and have a degree BSC infection Biology. I have a wealth of experience teaching different age groups, both infants and upper primary and can fluently speak 2 different languages (Urdu and Punjabi). Currently I am teaching STEM and Primary 3/2. I thoroughly enjoy teaching Literacy, Maths and all other curricular areas in the Curriculum. Being able to teach Science, Technology, Maths and Engineering this year has been exciting and most enjoyable.
I am also continuing to enhance my professional learning by attending courses and optional core programmes. Making time for Professional Development I believe is important and mandatory for all teachers.
After my initial assessment of having met the child/parent and understood what their looking for and looking to achieve I can then base my lessons and method of teaching to suit his/her needs. However teaching and learning is all about learning in a fun, creative and nurturing way. Having a varied structure of lessons and understanding the child's needs always creates a positive learning and teaching environment. I do have an approachable, enthusiastic and professional approach which I believe is important for a positive learning environment.
