I am extremely approachable and organised. I have received excellent reviews of my teaching method from previous students and parents. I have tutored GCSE and A Level syllabus the past 7 years in addition to 11+ entry examinations. I offer tuition at syllabus level and beyond, expanding pupils’ fascination with science topics. I am a dynamic teacher and examiner, with a wealth of experience, who knows how to get the best out of students. I am no ordinary tutor, I know how to get top grades and fast. I have an extremely wide background of experiences, from clinical medicine to navy marinization training, my accrued capabilities allow me to teach at the highest level, not only teaching subject content but instilling an attitude of success and striving to achieve.
All teachers have great qualifications, but not many have the inherent ability that I do: The ability to listen to students, to understand their obstacles, and lead by example in conveying an achieving mentality.
In addition to curriculum teaching, I also offer coaching for UKCAT, BMAT and medical school interviews. I attained top decile in my 2015 UKCAT. I received all my UKCAT medical school applications.
I have been employed by an international kindergarten based in Beijing, in a teaching and recruitment capacity for their bilingual kindergarten.
In Science and maths subjects, I have tutored from primary school to A Level / International Baccalaureate.
I am familiar with all GCSE and iGCSE exam boards (Edexcel, OCR, WJEC, AQA). I have mentored students with BMAT / UKCAT and general medical school applications with successful applicants to Russell Group universities for medicine and dentistry.
I offer guidance for 11+ exams, having previous experience helping students achieve excellent results for top schools such as St. Paul’s Girls School, St Paul’s Boys School, Dulwich College, Godolphin and Latymer Girl’s School, Putney High Girl’s School, Cardinal Vaughan Memorial, and the London Oratory School to name a few.

Stress from falling behind in a subject, or an impending exam, will impede learning.
The first task therefore is to take a step back and put the student at ease.
I try to accomplish this by being friendly, approachable and patient. This will hopefully enthuse the student as a happy student is a more productive student and I endeavour to make my tutoring sessions a highlight of their week rather than just another lesson.
I take a student-centred approach to tutoring, so that each student can have their individual needs met. Unlike at school, the more concentrated 1-on-1 environment in tutoring allows me to quickly identify and then develop a tutee's specific strengths and weaknesses, which will maximise their future learning at school. Teaching is my passion and I have had extremely successful results from my students after my tuition.
