Hello! I am a Cambridge graduate, and I have an outstanding track record at GCSE, A Level, and for Oxbridge admissions. I am a supportive and enthusiastic teacher, and always keen to tailor lessons to suit the requirements of my students. I am good at explaining difficult concepts, and am very patient. I carefully monitor my students' progress, and ensure that there is an appropriate level of challenge.

Tutoring Experience

I read English at the University of Cambridge, and am a qualified secondary school teacher, though I am experienced in teaching students from the age of 6 to 89! In a career spanning over a decade, I have successfully tutored students for 11+, 13+ entrance exams, Oxbridge and university entrance exams. I have an excellent track record in helping my students to achieve outstanding GCSE and A Levels. In addition to teaching academic subjects (English, Religious Studies and study skills), I am also a trained dance teacher, and specialise in teaching jazz, modern, street/hip hop and choreography. I also have several years' experience with neurodiverse students, and students for whom English is not a first language.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that learning should be fun and engaging. I work with my students to ascertain their targets, and ensure that they are on track. I am diligent in setting and marking homework, and plan lessons in advance to ensure that students enjoy learning, and get the most out of our sessions.
