I am an experienced Chemistry teacher and have taught in International and UK Schools. For the past nine years I have been teaching in an independent school south of London. I have always enjoyed teaching and tutoring as well as spending time with my family (when I can).

I am interested in the whole student, not just their exam results. The way I tutor shows that and I will encourage a love for learning that will carry over to their whole studies and not just Chemistry.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching Chemistry for over twenty years in different settings - Ivory Coast, Kuwait, Belfast, London and Nottingham. I have always prided myself in being able to tailor my teaching and tutoring to different backgrounds and levels of interest.

I have tutored many students over the years and not only have I helped them gain value added in their grades, many have decided to take on Chemistry when they had not considered it before.

Tutoring Approach

As a Housemaster I understand the importance of good support for students outside of the classroom and so with tutoring. Too often parents are left wondering what is going in their child's life and tutoring is no different.
