Ning's Feedback

I've been having lessons with NÍng for about two months and I would highly recommend him as a Mandarin teacher. He is very knowledgeable and flexible in his approach to teaching. He is currently helping me to study for my Chinese Proficiency Tests and he is very patient with the many questions I have for him.

Ning is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. He's very patient and always willing to help with your specific needs/questions.

Very patient, reliable, helpful and accommodating

My son (D) has some learning difficulties and was, frankly, floundering with the Intermediate 2 Mandarin course. We arranged tuition for him with Alan in advance of his prelims and exams and it made a HUGE difference. By the end of the first tuition period, D confirmed he was already happier - Alan had taken him through what would be required of him in the exams, worked out exactly where he was and where the work should be focussed. Both D and I learned more about the Mandarin course in the first session than we had all year!

Alan was calm, supportive, methodical and thorough. He worked with D's strengths and weaknesses and helped him with study techniques that he could manage. Most of all, he helped structure D's study to give him the best chance in the exams. D can panic a little when he feels out of his depth and Alan never lost patience with him and kept him focussed (no mean feat!)

D got his exam results this week: from having been floundering before Christmas, he has achieved an "A" grade in his Intermediate 2 exam and it is no exaggeration to say that he would not have achieved this without Alan's help. Cannot recommend him highly enough!

Patient and understanding manner, fun lessons, and reasonable fees. He has helped me enormously with my Chinese, I have come on leaps and bounds since lessons began. Thank you very much.
