I am a 41 year old graduate from Kings College London. I like to stay active by playing a variety of sports such as football, cricket, tennis and snooker. I also enjoy travelling, reading and meeting new people. I am constantly looking for new challenges in my life.
I have been tutoring full-time for over 18 years. In this time I have tutored over 400 students on a one-to-one level and my success rate is very good. I am used to having a variety of students and have had success with students from a number of different backgrounds. Many of my students are from London's top Independent schools.
I use wide a ranging approach to tutoring that I have developed over the years. I like to teach from a textbook and set my students regular homework after each lesson to ensure they practise and fully understand what they have learnt. Once I am satisfied that they fully understand the entire syllabus, I will set them past papers to practise from and mark these to give them feedback and a clear idea of how they are progressing. My students always seem to enjoy their lessons especially when they can see the progress they are making. I spend a lot of time planning my lessons so each lesson is as productive as possible. I am willing to provide a free introductory half an hour to prove how good I am.
