Hello there! My name is Alex and I have a first class honours within Infection and Immunity as part of my Biomedical Science BSc degree. I am currently working as a part-time tutor as well as my full time job within molecular science, assay development and diagnostics.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a tutor on-and-off for the last 2 years. I specialise within OCR A for A-level Chemistry, Biology and Geography within the ages of 10-18 years old.

Tutoring Approach

I would require a initial meeting to discuss the aims/goals of the student and which exam board they currently study.
Following the initial meeting, I utilise material from the CGP guide and online learning resources to pull together fun ways to learn about my favourite subjects in STEM. I find that the best approach is repetition, repetition, repetition and outside learning and extra homework would be necessary in order to receive excellent results.
