Although the main bulk of my work is in education I'm also interested in my subject at research and degree level. I've also recently developed an interest in throwing pots on the wheel.
20 years a sixth form teacher in A level Maths and Physics. I also teach core maths and recently I have taught a little level 2 functional skills Maths.
I have a relaxed and calm attitude with tutoring students. I help with whatever aspect they want. I prefer to teach remotely these days on Teams and I have a good virtual whiteboard from which to project the lesson. I find this is a good method for teaching people on an individual basis.
