I am originally from Northern Ireland and now live in London working as a professional session musician, teacher and songwriter. I am an experienced bass guitarist with a Bmus (Hons) Degree in Popular Music Performance and my aim is to provide lessons that will be tailor made to fit your playing ability and needs!
I have taught privately for 5 years, teaching young people from ages (8 years) to older adults (50+ years) all with different abilities and some with learning difficulties.
I also teach groups and volunteers at a non profit music camp called Girls Rock London. I have been a bass tutor and band coach at this camp that helps women, girls, trans and non binary folk gain confidence through music.
My experience teaching privately and also in DIY workshop spaces has given me the skills to understand there is no one correct way to learn something. My aim is to tailor the lesson to the individual depending on how they learn adn what they desire to learn whether it is a rock song or a lesson in music theory.
