Alex has been an amazing tutor for my son building up to his A Levels. His confidence and knowledge has grown immensely in psychology and he has benefited greatly from one to one sessions with Alex. I would highly recommend as a tutor.

Alex has been tutoring my daughter for over a month and has made a great difference in a short time supporting my daughter with her A’ level Sociology. She is a very competent tutor, responding to my daughter’s requests promptly and anticipating her needs. She has a friendly approach that is both direct and informed.

Alex made a quick assessment of my daughter’s needs and has been helpful in providing support in the different topic areas and different size exam questions. Alex is very knowledgeable of the exam board requirements and how to maximise marks to achieve the grades. Her flexible approach has meant she has been able to adapt to support with exam preparation using her wealth of support materials.

Alex has been able to personalise my daughter’s learning, that is not always possible in a school class. She has provided challenge with her essay writing that has stretched my daughter and supported her to improve her consistency.

In short she has maximised learning and understanding in my daughter’s weaker areas and provided motivation and encouragement that has been reflected in better test scores and homework grades in preparation for her final exams.

Alex is a highly professional and knowledgeable tutor, and we would have no hesitation in recommending her for study and revision sessions. Alex has been helping our daughter Eleanor in the months leading up to her A-level Psychology, and these sessions have improved her confidence and subject knowledge no end. Alex is friendly and supportive, and has found ways of clarifying areas which Eleanor has found difficult, as well as helping her with exam practice and techniques. Alex was flexible and added extra sessions in the weeks before the exams, which has helped hugely, and Eleanor has been able to go into the exams with confidence.

Alex is an excellent tutor. She has a friendly approach and is very knowledgeable about her subject and the A'Level exam syllabus.
She is very reliable, well organised and flexible. My daughter is finding the sessions very worthwhile in terms of boosting her confidence, consolidating course content knowledge and getting lots of practice and direction on how to answer exam style questions well .

Alex has been tutoring my daughter for 2 months so far, and I have been incredibly impressed with her.

I was looking for someone to help build my daughter’s confidence and consolidate her learning at A Level. Alex really listened to my request, and took time to assess the best way to help her. She comes well prepared, has an amazing, positive attitude, and although it is still early days, I am really delighted with what they have achieved together so far.

Very impatient about receiving first payment, which was due to her error as she spelt child's name wrong on the invoice, but the very short delay clearly bothered her and she involved the child into this matter by threatening to cancel sessions. Not as easy going as she makes out. For £50 I expect a more professional, polite person.

Alex is an outstanding tutor and we are so pleased to have the benefit of her expertise.

Alex was a brilliant tutor for my daughter on A2 Psychology, covering all aspects of the curriculum and also exam technique. There is no question that without Alex's efficient teaching style my daughter would not have passed her exams.
Alex also genuinely cares about the student and is excellent at identifying where problems lie and where more focus needs to be put. I can't recommend her highly enough!
