I am a second-year Biochemistry PhD student at Pembroke College, Oxford. Due to my energetic teaching style and strong academic record, I believe I can be of value in helping you reach the next level in your subject.
I achieved 4 A*s at A level in maths, chemistry, biology and Extended Project Qualification (dissertation title: "The Applications and Ethics of Biological Technologies"). In addition, at GCSE I achieved 9 A*s and 3 As. I have since tutored a number of students and achieved great outcomes such as a student achieving an A* in A level chemistry to allow them to meet their offer for the University of Oxford. Alongside my PhD research, I am a college tutor in Biochemistry at the University of Oxford.
I enjoy taking complex ideas and trying to break them down into simple parts which the student can easily understand. I believe I can frame topics in accessible ways, as I am aware of the possible places of confusion due to the fact that I learnt the topics myself not too long ago.
