Alex is helping my daughter with A Level Classics. She is in her final year at school. She has found Alex to be very reliable and professional in his approach. Alex knows his stuff and in particular how to translate this into exam technique. I'm pleased with the progress made to date.

Alex tutored my son for his history A2 level, which he gained an A grade in. Alex really helped him to rebuild his approach to essay writing, making the signposting of key points much clearer and thereby helping to secure a good grade.

My son was getting quite jaded with a rather formulaic approach to his lessons at school and he found the opportunity to debate and discuss the topics more widely with Alex invaluable in keeping his passion for the subject. This discursive approach was particularly helpful in approaching the coursework topic, which Callum scored highly in.

Alex was extremely reliable and my son really enjoyed his time with him.

My experience with Alex has been excellent. According to my son who is very particular, Alex is knowledgeable and a good tutor. My son and his friend enjoy their sessions with him and are learning a lot. I find him to be polite, a good communicator and flexible in his approach which he adapts to suit the boys.

Alex is a real treasure and I would recommend him to anyone. My daughter decided in the November of last year that she would like to take Latin GCSE this July - quite a tough proposition and I confess I was sceptical. Then we found Alex and I can proudly write that Charlotte has an A* in Latin GCSE.
Alex has a thorough knowledge of his subjects and the requirements of the exams. He is a very patient and calm tutor and quick to find a method of teaching that suits the individual. His advice was always practical and pertinent and no question too silly.
I would certainly use Alex again should the need arise.

Alex is a punctual and effective tutor. He made a positive impact to my sons recent AS level examination in English and without doubt raised his result from a prospective C or D to an achieved grade B. I would sincerely recommend him and hope to use him for my sons continued education.

Alex tutored my year 11 son in English and English Literature during the Easter holidays. My son felt Alex explained things very well and that it will have helped him with the exams.

Alex also helped my year 7 son, who has mild Dyslexia, with his writing skills a couple of times.
