My name is Aleyna and I am an undergraduate psychology student at Cardiff University. I have recently completed my A-levels achieving grades A*, A, A in Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
During my time in sixth form, I provided mathematics tutoring to Year 11 students entering their GCSEs. I also helped younger students with their reading, vocabulary and spelling.
Prior to the tutoring sessions I will ask students what they are struggling with and I will use this information to prepare materials to use in the session. If the student is unsure which topic areas they would like to revise, I will provide a mock test in the first session to discover weaker topics. During the session, I will give an overview of the topic and then guide the student through recall and exam questions.
