I am 31 years old with four years experience teaching across both the state and private international sector, as well as head of mathematics. Before my teaching career, I spent many years as an international horse rider and I still enjoy playing sport regularly.
I spent my first three years of teaching in a fabulous, OFSTED Outsanding pirmary school in South West London where I completed my NQT year. Whilst here, I taught in both Years 3 and 5 as well as being enrolled on the government run Maths Hub specialism scheme. From here, I moved to becoming a Year 6 teacher and maths co-ordinator at Braeburn Primary School, Arusha, Tanzania.
I have a very flexible yet methodical approach to teaching, understanding that children develop at different speeds and have created their own models for how they like to learn. I enjoy finding out what engages each child and from there we work on the areas they need to strengthen with a real meaningfulness to their learning.
