I am a mum with two kids and work as a Head of Religion and Philosophy in a school four days a week. I love online tutoring as I really enjoy the one to one side of learning as I can help people focus on the subject. I host international students in our house and as a family we love interacting with students from around the world and learning about other cultures.
23 years experience leading Religion and Philosophy departments in the UK. I also work at University as Curriculum Tutor of RE training RE teachers. I have been an examiner for GCSE and A Level for many years. I am trained in mindfulness and mental wellbeing education too.
Every student is an individual with complex needs and it is important to listen to what they need before embarking on tutoring with them. I offer immediate feedback as we go along and coach ideas out of my students as well as teach and explain difficult concepts. I incorporate mindful study skills in my tutoring so that ideas stick and skills are honed.
