I've recently sat my A Levels where I am predicted A* in A level Maths and Further Maths. Additionally I've achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths, so I am very familiar with the current exams and know how to succeed in them.
I've previously tutored 11+ and GCSE students freelance for 2 years and have delivered many lessons with my local cadet force as a senior cadet. Both have given me a lot of experience and skills in teaching.
Having just sat my exams and being similar in age to current students I understand how challenging and confusing maths may feel at times and can explain concepts in a way that makes sense to students.
My teaching will be specific to you. I'll teach based on your exam board specification and what you struggle on, using a whiteboard and pen to focus on the maths problem in a step-by-step approach. I refrain from using complex worksheets or over-the-top resources as they more often than not distract from the maths at hand.
I aim to improve your understanding of the maths as well as the knowledge you need to pass your exam.
