I have been teaching/tutoring for 23 years. I live in Hereford with my dog and have decided to leave the classroom and tutor students. I left my last teaching post in July where I was on a one-year contract.
Primary level teaching across KS2. Have taught in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Herefordshire. I have nurtured year 6 through SATS and been Music co-ordinator in 2 schools. I have also taught in a 'Supply' capacity across Herefordshire. I also have experience in tutoring in Bedfordshire with 'Teachers to your home.' I taught online during COVID to my students at home as well as being in the classroom. Most of my experience is within KS2.
I have a 'Firm but fair' approach and like to 'seek out' children's talents as I believe all children deserve to be listened to and nurtured in order to reach their goals in life. I take pleasure in watching children mature and 'grow' under my guidance and teaching. I am very personable and approachable. I have also had lots of experience with SEN children who need specialist care and attention. I am particularly adept at sourcing resources for all educational levels in the Primary sector and have collected many of my own over the years.
