Hello! I'm Amber, a qualified teacher from London. With 7 years of experience in schools, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting children, helping students achieve their best and fostering a love for learning. I have a PGDE in Primary Teaching, a degree in Childhood Youth and Community Studies and a TEFL qualification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). I aim to create an exciting, supportive and engaging environment to help children thrive.
I have extensive experience (as a teacher and teaching assistant) working with a range of students in both KS1 and KS2, including children with SEND and English as an additional language. This has given me a deep understanding of the curriculum and what children need to achieve at each stage of their education.
I am skilled at identifying areas where students may need extra support and tailoring lessons to help them progress. My approach is focused on building confidence, improving key skills, and fostering a positive attitude toward learning. With a personalized, supportive approach, I am committed to helping each child reach their full potential and succeed academically.
My approach is centered around making learning enjoyable and ensuring your child thrives. I believe in building confidence and creating a positive, supportive environment where they feel comfortable to grow. Each session is tailored to suit your child's unique needs, ensuring they are always challenged but never overwhelmed. I ensure each session incorporates engaging activities and games to make learning fun and believe patience and encouragement are key. I strive to help every child feel successful and motivated to continue their learning journey.
