My name is Amna. I am a first year undergraduate student studying biological sciences, I have lived my entire life in dubai. I am currently really interested in the pharmaceutical sciences field. I have gained a month experience at a thrift store to develop my communication skills back home, furthermore i am currently volunteering at tutor for nation to advance my teaching skills. Besides academic i enjoy cooking, going out and trying new hobbies.

Tutoring Approach

When it comes to planning out my lessons, I like to start by setting clear goals and objectives for what the student would like to learn. Then, I break down the content into chunks from scratch to support their learning. I believe drawing concepts or writing down really helps with teaching. I also try to incorporate different teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles, after that i would give the students exam questions from past papers to make sure they understand the idea. I would say it’s all about creating a well-structured and interactive learning experience for the students.
