Tutoring Experience

I have had the privilege of teaching at international summer schools, focusing on physics concepts for American students at level four (first year of a degree). Over three intensive eight-week courses, I conducted workshops and laboratory sessions, guiding groups of students through foundational physics principles. My approach emphasized not only solving specific problems but also ensuring a deep understanding of underlying concepts, enabling students to apply their reasoning skills to diverse scenarios.

Additionally, I have experience teaching mathematics modules to foundation year business students, covering topics in statistics and general mathematics equivalent to higher GCSE level. In this role, I provided personalized one-to-one instruction, catering to the diverse abilities and learning styles of individual students. Outside of formal education settings, I have also provided private tuition in mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry and computer science. From radiation experiments to magnetic levitation demonstrations, I engaged students ranging from local Beaver groups to A-level students, both on-campus and within the wider community. This experience strengthened my communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
