Tutoring Experience

I am a Head of English at a local independent school. I am in my seventh year of teaching and have a range of experiences in both the independent and state sector. In addition, I have taught a range of specifications and courses, but am currently teaching AQA English Language and Literature at GCSE. Furthermore, I am also teaching Victorian literature for AQA English Literature specification A at AS level.

I have experience of teaching AQA English Literature specification B at A2 level as well as AQA English Language and Literature Combined at both AS and A2.

Tutoring Approach

I will build your experience around what you feel you most need. In addition, if you are struggling to understand what it is you need, I will build a programme built around the specification and show you how to address the assessment objectives. If you need further work, I can highlight a range of tasks to practice and perfect your skills.

I can do anything from simple sentence construction to high level Literature analysis. If you want help getting a level 5 at Key Stage 3 or you think you can get an A Star at A level, I am willing to provide structured support that suits you.
