Angela has been my tutor for 2 and a half years, supporting me during my move to Germany.

When we started, I was working in the UK and moving to Germany was a plan far in the distance. Today, I’m living in my own apartment in Germany, working a new job and have made many German-speaking friends along the way.

All of this would've been a hundred times more difficult without the support of Angela over the years. Angela is very knowledgable, friendly, patient and kind. She has also helped out outside of lessons when needed which is brilliant!

Overall, I would fully recommend Angela as a friendly casual language tutor :)

Angela is a great teacher. Prior to starting the lessons we had a trial session and discussed my objectives. Angela had also sent me an online test to complete.

We worked methodically through the lessons and practice but I also had space to shape lessons depending on what I wanted to cover. As I was preparing for the B2 exam, it was important to revise all the relevant topics. Angela selected good quality books for me to use and gave very good feedback on my completed work. I found her thorough and diligent, which is what I needed. Also, as she is German but lived in the UK for many years, she understands how to explain the grammar to a British person. This is important.

I highly recommend her. I had to pause my lessons for personal reasons but if I start my German up again soon, I will reach out to her to continue the lessons.

Angela was a great teacher! I was a complete beginner and she made me feel confident and excited to speak German. The lessons were very well structured and we made great progress in a short period of time. Thank you Angela!

Angela taught my two teenage kids and was always well prepared ahead of each lesson. She utilised a variety of resources to keep lessons interesting, including textbooks, videos and apps. Angela established great rapport with my kids who really enjoyed her lessons and she was able to get them fully engaged with the learning process. Angela was flexible with regards to rescheduling lessons when we couldn’t make our usual day/time.

Angela is a wonderful tutor and I can't recommend her highly enough. If you're at all hesitant about reaching out then I can say you have no reason to be, she is warm and friendly and puts you immediately at ease. I have been taking weekly German lessons with Angela for three months now and she has been consistently supportive and thorough, sending additional materials between lessons and being open to reviewing any work I complete. Each lesson is not only a lesson in the language but also in history and culture; Angela's enthusiasm is clear and the lessons are always interesting as a result.

I found Angela to be an excellent teacher. I wanted to learn about the cases in German and Angela quickly established what level I was at, understood what I wanted to learn, and provided exercises and resources to help me improve. She was warm and friendly but got straight down to brass tacks at the beginning of the lesson and gave me exercises till the final minute. She also sent the odd link or video outside of lesson time for my interest. I would definitely reccomend Angela and I hope to have more lessons from her in the future.

Angela is a fantastic teacher, very friendly and easy to get along with. I studied with Angela once a week for some months in preparation for my move to Berlin (My partner got a job offer here). I must say the content we covered has helped me a lot in my first few weeks here, it can be intimidating moving country but the lessons with Angela have given me the confidence to make my way about the city. Angela is flexible in her teaching methods and helped me both to learn the language and a bit about the culture and customs as well. I completely reccomend Angela to anyone considering learning a new language.
