My Daughter really enjoys her lessons with Annabel , she’s very shy but was happy to go in on her own during her 1st taster session and even asked if she could go the next day. I get feedback and photos from annabel after each session which is great. You can tell Annabel really loves teaching children and she’s a lovely lady.

Annabel has been absolutely fantastic!!!! I honestly couldn’t be more happier or pleased with finding her. Annabel got to know my daughter before the session via me she asked so many questions to find out what works with my daughter. This is the first time we have got my daughter support and we were worried how she would feel but honestly she looks forward to every session and at the end of every session says THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! Honestly couldn’t recommend Annabel enough!!! The sessions sound fun! A couple

Annabel established a great rapport with my daughter from the very first lesson. She is very encouraging and always checks in to see if what she is teaching within that lesson, is helpful and what is needed. We have only had a few lessons but definitely plan to continue.

Annabel is a kind and helpful person. Who would of been a great tutor for my daughter. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to go ahead with tuition due to a sudden change in personal circumstances but Annabel was very understanding.

Our son has special needs in the form of autism, learning difficulties and a speech sound disorder. In the past learning has been stressful for him and he found it too overwhelming. But Annabell has been tutoring him for the past few months and he loves his sessions and looks forward to them.

Annabell works at his pace, she makes it fun and stimulating for him, gives him lots of praise and encouragement and his abilities have really improved a lot.

We are really glad we found Annabell and so grateful our son gets to enjoy learning!

I am so glad I found Annabel for my daughter who has ADHD and was struggling with her English writing .The lessons are fun with lots of games and she already made great progress in just a couple of lessons. The lessons are only 30 minutes which works perfect for her because she can’t concentrate for long. The most important thing is that my daughter looks forward to the lessons. I would definitely recommend Annabel to anybody looking for a friendly and patient tutor.

We are lucky to have found Annabel. My son was not keen on English tutoring when I suggested it, but after one meeting with Annabel, he was hooked! He looks forward to the lessons. They are short, fun, engaging, focused and organised to cover particular areas to improve. This was particularly helpful for SATs preparations. We get regular feedback and discuss how to move forward, which helps me and my son keep track of his progress. Annabel spotted my son's interest in creative writing, which brings great opportunities for for him to explore and develop his writing skills.

Annabel's classes are very interactive and fun. My 8 years old loves his English classes with her and he says that the class doesn't feel like class.
She's truly the best match for my son's character.

The one word that can describe her would be Amazing. She is energetic and lovely person.
My both children are already excited and counting on the days for the next lesson.

My son is 10 years old, he is in a small primary school setting with the majority of kids in his year well above average. He has some sensory and processing difficulties but nothing to warrant additional assistance. Because of where he finds himself, slightly below average, the biggest impact is his low confidence and opinion of himself as a failure. Finding Annabel with her positive and upbeat approach to teaching has been amazing. We are so lucky to have found her to help with English. My son comes away from the lesson feeling so valued and enthusiastic. Annabel has the rare skill of making others feel good about themselves, so not only does my son improve his skills he feels good about it and keen to do it again. Thank you Annabel

Wow! Maths became interesting and fun for the first time for my daughter. Annabel’s enthusiasm makes the learning process enjoyable, and she had my daughter’s 100% attention throughout the lesson.

My son is greatly enjoying learning with Annabel. He said that he wished she was his English teacher at school! She's very lively and engaging and makes learning fun which is really important. I'd highly recommend her.

My 8 year old son loves maths, and with us currently trying to home-school both him and his brother, we quickly realised that he was finding the school work too easy. I wanted to find him a tutor who could challenge him while keeping it fun and Annabel has done exactly that. He comes out of his sessions absolutely buzzing and excited for the next one. My son has recently started sessions with Annabale. Being a mother of the kid who didn’t like to write always made me worried how to help him to develop interest in creative writing.

Thanks to Annabale!!! Now my son loves to learn new words and likes the way in which Annabale engage him to think and imagine the scene to put in his words!!!!

Our 9 year old daughter has had several sessions with Annabel via Zoom over the last few weeks and we are delighted with her progress.

She’s struggled with maths during lockdown and we’ve worried that she may fall behind and become disengaged in maths. We looked for a tutor who could make learning fun and give her 121 coaching to build her confidence.

My son Daniel has been going to Annabel for tutoring for several weeks to get support with his sentence structure and vocabulary. He is already showing increased interest in his learning and each week really looks forward to his lesson. We have been really pleased with our daughters tuition sessions, not only is she learning but also enjoying herself. My daughter looks forward to seeing Annabel every week :-)

Amazing Annabel ! What more can i say. When i first spoke with and the next day met Annabel it was very apparent that she is very passionate about her work and her enthusiasm shines through, which really works for our daughter. I was so pleased with my first lesson with Annabel. I was a little nervous and she put me at ease immediately with her friendly nature.

I would recommend her to school students and also mature students like myself, who are lacking in confidence.

My boys ( 12, 11 and 7) have been taught by Annabel for the last 4 months and they have made great progress. They are motivated by her lessons and are always happy to attend. Their handwriting and vocabulary has improved hugely.

Arranged two appointments but unfortunately I had to cancel because my daughter & I have been ill. Once we are both will again, i will arranged another appointment with Annabel.

My very bright 10 year old son recently left school as he found learning in a classroom environment boring, restricting and unimaginative. He is now home-educated and Annabel makes learning fun, exciting and challenging for him. She caters to his individual needs far more than is possible at school and he looks forward to his lessons with her.

Annabel is highly intellectual (significantly over and above her qualifications) with a fantastically positive attitude. She's also kind, passionate about her teaching and most importantly my son really likes her. I wish i'd found her months ago as she fits my 'perfectionistic' ideal of a person whom can successfully facilitate my son's learning ability, and i really look forward to her tutoring Charlie for many years to come.

I can't recommend Annabel highly enough. My son has problems with confidence and his concentration and added to that also has reduced hearing. Annabel has a fantastic way with him, his confidence has grown and he really enjoys his lessons with her. I particularly like the fact that Annabel uses indoor and outdoor games to assist with learning, this is particularly useful for my son's kinesthetic learning style.

Very pleased with Annabel. My son had a traumatic incident at school over five years ago which badly affected his confidence and desire to write. He has since been home-schooled but I can only take him so far. Annabel instantly connected with him and he finds her lessons very enjoyable due to her tailoring them around his interests. I don't think he realises how hard he is working for her. Very happy indeed.

Elise absolutely loves going to her lessons and her reading and writing has really come on. Having these extra lessons has really helped with her confidence going to school and she is much more willing to try and read new words etc. Before she started the lessons she was very tearful and worried about going to school as she was not confident with her reading, she is now like a different child in the mornings and I am very pleased with her progress. Have not rated as a 5 purely because my 12 year old son has only had a few sessions, so do not believe that I will fully understand the impact that this intervention has had until he returns to school in the new academic year,

But what I can say is that he sees Annabel twice a week during the holidays and it is not a struggle to get him to attend, and I have. It had to push or even ask that he complete the homework that is set for him, he does it off his own steam and enjoys it, which is in total contrast to school,

My son is dislexic and due to this and bullying from peers who call him 'stupid' or '' he totally lacks confidence, and this has already changed, and he is again becoming engaged with his learning, and therefore beginning to learn again and enjoy it.

Although he is slightly older than the age that Annabel would teach academic wise, it is a suitable level for Sam and her style suits him perfectly,

Annabel was a good tutor for Skype and she did use resources online. She is friendly and talkative. Her lessons are well planned and interesting.

My daughter went to Annabel for help with History A2. She had been struggling to get good grades in her assessments and had difficulties with proper structuring of essays. I believe she gained a lot from her tutorship and even though this was for only 2-3months it was clear there had been a massive improvement in her style. We are now waiting for her results and are quietly hopeful it will reflect the hard work Annabel put in to get her here. Thanks Annabel and keep up the good work.

Annabel has been tutoring my 12yr old son for the past 8 weeks and I am very impressed with his progress. He struggles at school due to behavioural conditions and being on the autistic spectrum. Annabel has a good understanding of the condition and tailors his lessons to suit him. Keeping his lessons fun and giving him lots of encouragement and praise. He has particular difficulties with English, which is what he concentrates on with Annabel. He happily goes once a week completes all his work and come out very pleased with himself. I am very grateful with all of Annabel's hard work.

My daughter decided to change AS subjects after the first term and Annabel has given her some intensive tuition over the Christmas holidays to teach her an entire term in a few sessions. My daughter has enjoyed the tuition, feels she is on top of the tuition and Annabel has a natural ability to engage and enthuse and has been a wonderful find. No hesitation in recommending.

Annabel is an excellent tutor whose work with my daughter has been superb. I would recommend Annabel to anyone thinking of getting extra tuition for their child.

Annabel has been teaching our son William for a couple of months now and we have noticed a marked improvement in his reading, spelling and phonics. Annabels style of teaching works well with William and he has great fun while learning.

William looks forward to going to see Annabel twice a week and with Annabels help has passed his year 1 phonics test this week with a score of 39 out of 40, something two months ago we would not have thought possible.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Annabel, and will continue to have William, and in the future his younger brother Robert taught by Annabel.

Myself and Melanie cannot thank Annabel enough, for all the help she has given to Jack . She has worked so hard in preparing and tailoring her lessons to meet his needs, encouraging him to think outside the box and exploring suitable revision techniques . My daughter (year 2) has been tutored by Annabel for the last 2 months, 1 hr per week. She has improved a great deal, her reading flow has really come on, she has moved up a level at school, also with her spelling and phonic sounds. The way in which Annabel teaches, how she structure's her lesson really seem to work, my daughter is always very happy to learn with Annabel. Annabel is very warm and friendly.
