I live in Lincolnshire ,by the seaside, which is a lovely part of the country. I am a qualified property lawyer but now specialise in tutoring and my subjects as details below are law, music theory and piano. I have a retired racing greyhound and a horse, so my main interest is animals. I am a volunteer in the village charity shop which supports retired greyhounds and rehomes them, My other main interest is singing and I sing in three local choirs.

Tutoring Experience

I am an experienced law tutor. I have taught for training providers and colleges including Open university and Damar Training in addition to colleges. I have worked as an examiner for CILEX and as an External verifier for SQA. I can teach A level law, particularly AQA, all the modules for Council for Licensed Conveyancers examinations and Probate, and Conveyancing, Land Law and probate for the Cilex and LPC examinations.

I can also offer music as a subject, I teach piano to local students or on line and also theory of music and projects for A level

I teach law and music on line via zoom or teams as is most effective.

Tutoring Approach

I believe in life long learning at whatever age. I am patient and understanding. If you are distance learning or learning whilst working I understand how difficult it is to study especially with family commitments. I will do my best to work out a plan with you as to how to get the best out of your lessons. My aim is for you to walk into an exam room confident and pass first time. I am very enthusiastic about the subjects I teach. Law is a life long interest of mine, the law is always being updated so I keep updated and interested and carry out a lot of research. I hope I pass my enthusiasm on to students.
My love of music is life long as well and students will be encourage to cover all genres of music and develop their skills and understanding and appreciation of music.
