We are so happy to have found Anne. My son needed to fill the gaps with his Maths that he had missed at school due to illness.

Anne is extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind.

After just a few sessions our son’s knowledge and confidence has grown significantly and he has found the lessons to be fun.

We highly recommend Anne.

The teacher rejected English tutoring as ESL.

Indeed, the initial request was maths by accident, but… I did mention my son's mother tongue is not English, we need preparation for an English exam. The teacher approved this.

This is clearly miss-understanding.

So, we end up with a cancelled lesson.

Really helpful, understood our children very quickly and work out how to teach them appropriately. Going forward Anne will be a great help with our children's learning.

Anne is a very kind and considerate tutor, very willing to listen to what you would like her to teach and with a very lovely manner towards my daughter. She is very careful and quite knowledgeable about different methods of teaching. My daughter really likes being taught by her.

Anne was fantastic with my two children (ages 10 and 8). I initially selected her to help my daughter prep for entrance exams but because of her amiable personality and success with my daughter, I also asked her to work with my son. Anne always worked hard to set goals and to prepare appropriate lessons for each of my children. In particular, she went above and beyond with my daughter to ensure she was completely ready for all aspects of her entrance exams by providing additional review documents, schedules and support. My daughter was subsequently offered places in all three of the schools for which she sat exams. We have tried other tutors in the past and have liked Anne by far the best. My son (8) had a couple of sessions with Anne and he loved it. He engages with her very easily and she can talk his language. Anne demonstrates to have plenty of experience in teaching and personalizes the class for the child. This is not just from an academic perspective but can also work on activities that will help on balance and co-ordination required for handwriting for example. I will without hesitation recommend Anne as a tutor.

Anne is simply brilliant! She built rapport very quickly with our 5 (nearly 6) year old little boy and soon had him focusing on the task at hand. She kept Freddie engaged by doing a mix of tasks supplemented with lovely conversation. She is firm and very fair! Freddie looks forward to his visits and also taking home the lovely books we borrow.

Anne has given us confidence and reassurance in terms of Freddie's ability and how he is progressi through these early years of school.
