Hi, I'm a first year medical student at Imperial College London School of Medicine. I have always been interested in the sciences and maths and I'm also someone who really like enjoy working with people and seeing how my work can impact people directly, hence why I chose medicine. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, reading, singing and playing the piano!
I received A*AA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths respectively at
A-level. My university course requires me to have a strong understanding of all the sciences and maths as we use concepts we learnt from GCSE and A Level on a daily basis. Because of this, I feel very confident I can tutor these subjects to a high standard. I am a friendly and chatty individual and I hope to make everyone feel at ease when tutoring.
I have had tutoring experience for the last 3 years teaching Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English, Mandarin and piano both face to face and online whilst in Sixth Form and my gap year. I also volunteered to run a medical society and mentored students in GCSE and AS level Biology, Chemistry and Maths. During my gap year in Taiwan, I have worked as a private tutor with a wide range of students from ages 3 to 14, teaching them English and Maths from primary school to secondary school level.
I am also very happy to help you out with medical school admissions as I have successfully completed the UCAT and BMAT exams as well a number of medical school interviews not long ago.

I'm bilingual and can speak fluent Mandarin and English and have had experience teaching English to primary school-aged children on my gap year in Taiwan.
My lessons will consist of me understanding your needs as a student - all students have different abilities and learning styles so I am committed to ensuring I can tailor the sessions to meet your demands, whether that's reaching your target grades or teaching in a style that suits you. Whatever you need, I will try to deliver.
I will aim to create your personalised structure and goals with you - no one wants to pay for a waste of time. I will make sure that the sessions are focused to achieve specific goals whilst also having a long term plan to reach your desired long-term goals based on your specific needs.
The sessions will be friendly and interactive - I don't want to just talk at you for an hour as you may have in your school lessons, I want this to be your time to develop your understanding, develop a new way of approaching different concepts and feel comfortable enough to ask any questions you may not have the confidence to ask in class. No question is a stupid question here!
I thoroughly enjoy being able to explain scientific concepts to others, and I find it extremely gratifying to be a part of helping students realise their goals.
