My name is Anthony and I'm a second-year student completing s bachelor's in Economics at the University of Birmingham. I have completed A levels in numerical and science-based subjects including Chemistry, Computer Science, and Economics.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored online for over a year working with a well-reputed tuition company based around providing bespoke teaching to UK secondary schools. Therefore, my knowledge of curriculum and exam expectations is well up to date.

Additionally, I have been through the lengthy process of applying to higher education & am constantly completing exams; able to explore different exam techniques to find which is the most suitable for my students. I have the most up-to-date knowledge of the whole application process. I'm always happy to offer any advice on applying to university or sixth form, college placements.

I have valuable student experience working with students via mentoring to help them surpass target grades. I find helping students very rewarding and am eager to guide you in your study decisions and improve your confidence level in your exams.

Tutoring Approach

From my previous tutoring experience, my lesson structure usually revolves around completing practice exam questions on each subtopic of the curriculum and pinpointing student progress. Depending on the performance of the pupil the lesson will be adapted as such. For example, a student struggling in with the atomic structure and the periodic table will find themself doing a theory lesson with me on the topic. Where you will be able to apply your newfound knowledge in exam papers that we will work through together.
