My daughter only had one lesson with Tony, after a preliminary chat between Tony, my daughter and I. From a tutoring perspective for my daughter, the session was unfortunately not good as he was flitting around so much, chatting about his wife, the car and his kittens, that my daughter did not know when he was focusing on subject related matters and felt it was totally disjointed. Tony is a cheerful chap, and he did try explaining that he was relating these things to real life scenarios but it was not a teaching style that my daughter could work with.

My son has only been using Tony for the last few weeks, however he seems to be enjoying his sessions. He is quite animated after the session, talking about what he has learnt, which is good. I think Tony will help him with his AS exams coming up in the summer.

My son enjoyed his lessons with Anthony. However I noticed (i) the lessons were driven by what my son "wanted" to learn and (ii) he gave my son no homework of any sort to objectively check his understanding and to build the skills required for A Level Economics exams.
After a few weeks (4-5) of this approach I emailed/texted/called (had to leave a voicemail) to see if adjustments could be made. I got no response. In the end I cancelled the arrangement.

Excellent tutoring. Very professional and thorough. Anthony gave my son great confidence to excel in this subject.

Tony tutored my son for his A level economics, this is what my son sent Tony on the morning he got his results, I can’t say it any better. I can’t thank you enough for all the help and work you’ve done for me to get me into the position I am in now, when I first started having sessions with you I was on an E. My goal was to move up by a grade or two with C being a very aspirational target, but I’ve hit that because of you. You’re feedback and guidance after each exam helped push me further and want to do more, I can also say that after finishing exams, a part of me did feel a little lost not studying economics. Talking to you every Saturday morning had sparked something inside of me which turned economics from a subject I loathed into a subject I was keen to learn about and enjoyed. Once again, I can’t thank you enough and will be sure to recommend you to other students.

Anthony has increased our daughter's knowledge in Economics and therefore, her confidence. He is flexible and patient and goes the extra mile.

Tony was very quick to respond and has already set up a plan of action to support my daughter with her resit exam in just 6 weeks and already has Held two sessions this week after initial contact just on Monday and a face to face introduction the following day. Tony has very good knowledge. Michael has not studied economics before therefore he is unsure of his gaps in his knowledge, he needs Tony to find out where those gaps are and what he needs to work on.

I have made contact and we had a very good discussion. The lessons will commence very soon.

Tuition has been very useful. Lessons are very focused and informative and are helping clarify some of the points Kate has been having problems with. The homework aspect has been especially useful as Kate gets to see where her exam techniques need improving. Very professional and obviously has extensive subject knowledge.
