I am a physics teacher in an East Renfrewshire school and also help young people on a one-to-one basis to achieve their academic goals through well-structured tuition.

Tutoring Experience

I am an experienced East Renfrewshire secondary teacher in the Scottish education sector and have taught National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher Physics for many years and mark exam scripts for the SQA. Additionally, I am a very experienced personal tutor and have tutored many students on a one to one basis, and helped them to gain confidence in physics and significantly improve their exam grades.

Tutoring Approach

I like to encourage pupils and develop their ability to answer exam standard questions. This is achieved by careful explanation of the concepts, followed up by answering many past paper examples. I also ensure that pupils understand the expectations of the SQA in exam answers.
