I am a research scientist by profession, do tutoring, teaching, and supervision along the way. I have passion to contribute towards the development of an educated society through my knowledge and skills. Throughout my education, I achieved distinction in science and then passed the national level of competition to get selection for post-graduation in MSc Biotechnology from one of the premier universities in India. Afterward, I did my Ph.D. by investigating infectious diseases from CSIR institute CDRI. Further, I did postdoctoral research in top London Universities. I worked as a Research and Teaching manager at Birkbeck and it has been a great experience, where I gained undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research project management experience along with other responsibilities of graduate and post-graduate students. Science is always been my passion and my work colleagues always praise my teaching skills and methods, which motivated me to become a good science teacher.
I am a responsible, well-organized, and self-motivated person and it makes me confident for transferring the best of my knowledge and experience to the educational system. Since my Ph.D., I started supervising and teaching undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students. I help to deliver few hours of PG lectures and practical demonstrations to support at Birkbeck, University of London. I support lecturers to prepare the learning resources including in-depth product information, technique, and basic literature. I also provide hands-on training to students for biological techniques. I do mentor the students with their projects, assignments, coursework, CV, and personal statement assessment.
Science is all around us and it is a basic need for us to understand the basic concept of science from the beginning of education. I am proficient in Biology for secondary and higher education. I enjoy teaching and biology was always my best-scoring subject. Day by day, we are having new technologies and I believe that my skills and experience will really help GCSE ad A level students to understand basic as well as advanced modules of biology thoroughly. I thought that this is the right place, where I can spread my knowledge. My students always scored higher grades in their exams and I am pleased to tell that my students not only achieve A* in biology but also secured their place in MBBS courses at Imperial and Hull York University. In general, my teaching session lasts for two hours to cover one topic and I am very flexible as per the student's need and modulate the lessons accordingly. I also provide a booking discount to my tutee if they book in advance. Thank you very much for reading my profile.
I offer block booking discounts for more lessons that are booked in advance.
