My husband and I love learning Italian with Antonella. Great subject knowledge and being Italian, we have learned the correct way to pronounce and construct sentences. Antonella is great fun to learn with and we plan to have many more months of learning.

Antonella was a very competent teacher of ESL who was capable of designing personalized lessons for our two daughters (11 and 14 years old). Unfortunately our stay in England was just of short duration and we could not take advantage of her competences for very long. In any case, I would never hesitate to call her up whenever we happen to be in that region again. Needless to say that I can absolutely recommend her to any ESL student who needs private lessons. Thank you Antonella and hope to see you again!

Antonella is an outstanding Italian tutor, she has a lovely warm personality which gives the perfect environment for studying Italian on a one to one basis.
I am an absolute beginner, and have not studied a language since leaving school over 40years ago. Antonella's passion for tutoring together with her ability to deliver a bespoke comprehensive programme of Italian which gives you the solid building blocks to be able to speak, read, write and understand the Italian language and culture.
I really look forward each week to my Italian lessons and would highly recommend Antonella.

We have a lot of fun in our lessons and I am achieving my objective, namely to speak Italian and revise the basic grammar which I have either forgotten over forty plus years, or which I have never been taught. It would be nice not to have to ask for my homework to be sent to me and then to have to ask for it to be marked, although it is good sometimes to cover the mistakes I've made in the lesson, rather than on my own. All in all, I am more than happy though.

As a senior Antonella did not meet my needs or wishes. My homework was to read the Italian version of Jack and the Beanstalk, for what purpose I do not know! She spent an hour telling me about the 'neutral article' which is not in dictionaries or grammar books (and I haven't found anyone who has heard of it) and she failed to supply me with a written explanation of it. I could not understand her verbal explanation (in English). She later said that was her assessment of me (strange-she didn't say she was assessing me). I wanted to cover some vocabulary and practice my Italian for a forthcoming holiday to Italy. She told me my Italian is not good enough for that which has not been good for my confidence. I am not going back.

Antonella is a very friendly, patient Italian tutor with a good sense of humour. Whether you are a beginner wanting Italian for holidays, or a professional who needs the language for business, Antonella can tailor her lessons to suit your needs. Tutorials are one-to-one, so quite intensive, but the tutor varies the pace of your lessons with talk of Italian culture, customs and of course cuisine. How fast you learn depends on your input of course, but Antonella will always be there to support you - and at a very reasonable rate! I heartlily recommend her.

I've only had two lessons so far but I am loving it. I was really nervous at first as not studied a language since I was at school , which was a long time ago! Antonella has been great, she put me at ease straight away. She goes at a pace suitable for you. I would definately recommend her .
