I am a high achieving current university of Nottingham student with exceptional grades in both A-levels and GCSEs, including A*s in OCR A Chemistry and AQA Biology. Having also successfully navigated the 11+ exam, to get into one of the most competitive schools in the West Midlands ,I understand the challenges and nuances of this initial crucial milestone. This has well-equipped me to have the effective strategies for success which i am eager to leverage to guide aspiring students towards their goals.

Tutoring Experience

I have an extensive background in tutoring whether that be at home teaching many of younger siblings or at school where I would mentor students in lower years during lunchtimes to help catch up on their classwork. Moreover, I spend a lot of my time volunteering at youth centres.

Tutoring Approach

I take a very student centred approach and I like to focus on the student’s concerns on topics surrounding the subject and what improvements can be made in their revision or exam techniques. Over the course of my academic years I have learnt and implemented many of these strategies to achieve top marks and navigate the difficult mark schemes of the exam boards.
