Graduated University of St Mark and St John with 2:1 (Hons) in BEd Secondary Education with Physical Education. Current Curriculum Lead for PE in successful Academy. I have been teaching GCSE and A- Level PE and sport in secondary schools for 10 years.

Tutoring Experience

4 years teaching PE and Sport Science 11-16 in North London. 3 years teaching PE and Sports Science 11-18 inc GCSE and A-Level in Surrey.
4 years as a Head of PE at a successful academy in London. Currently the Curriculum Lead for PE at a brand new Academy in Sussex.

I have also taught KS3 History as this is a subsidiary subject for me. This is a subject that is a passion of mine and I thoroughly enjoy teaching it.

Tutoring Approach

Approachable and knowledgeable. I have experience of teaching small classes so have a range of different teaching and tutoring styles for 1 to 1 learning. Every student is different and I will endeavor to create a tailor-made plan for every student I teach. Learning should be enjoyed by all involved and I strongly believe that students learn best through a range of different teaching strategies. I also specialise in GCSE exam preparation for the new specifications.
