My name is Asma Laher. I am a highly experienced primary school teacher and senior leader with a passion for ensuring that all pupils receive a challenging, engaging, and encouraging education. With over 22 years of teaching experience across all phases, I have extensive knowledge of educational standards and a proven track record of success in ensuring children achieve their very best.
I am a qualified primary school teacher with a BA in English with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with a great passion for instilling the love of learning to those I teach. I have 22 years of teaching experience and 10 years of leadership experience with an excellent track record of making a difference. Currently, I am the Deputy Headteacher at a Primary School in Surrey leading on Quality of Education. I have extensive knowledge and experience in teaching children between the ages of 3-11 from a range of abilities. I am also the Designated Safeguarding Lead and have an enhanced DBS clearance.
I believe that every pupil has the potential to succeed, and I am committed to providing them with the support they need to reach their full potential. My approach to tutoring is tailored to the individual needs of each pupil, and I use a variety of teaching methods to ensure that every pupil is engaged and learning.
