Hi ! My name is Atalanta Removed and I’m an undergraduate currently studying Psychology with French at the University of Edinburgh. I previously studied psychology A-level and found the content so interesting I chose to continue at a higher level. Alongside psychology, I took A-level Business studies and Drama & Theatre studies which are also essay subjects where the marks are heavily weighted in critical analysis. From my experience, learning how to structure essays and including evaluation are crucial skills to achieving top grades in both GCSE and A-level. I also teach KS3 Maths, Science, and English and will tailor lesson to my students needs. As your tutor I would love to set up a meeting to understand what you need help with. Tutoring Experience

I have worked as a personal tutor on Mytutor for 6 months tutoring students aged 12 - 17 in core subjects such as Maths, English and Science. I've also taught exam booster classes for psychology A-level, going over content and exam preperation.

Tutoring Approach

I tailor each class to students learning ability by starting with an introductory quiz to know what level to work on. In lessons i will go over content with check point quizzes after each section to allow the student to consolidate their learning. At the end of the class I like to do 'blurt mind maps' where the student writes down anything the remember from the lesson in a visual diagram, creating a revision source for them to go back to. My lessons are collaborative and open space for questions, making sure the students enjoy the process of lesson and get as much out of the lessons as they can.
