I am a dedicated, multilingual (native English and French, C2 Italian) and experienced teacher of French and English as foreign languages, and teacher of literary translation (English <-> French).
I am passionate about grammar, pronunciation and am a specialist of the communicative approach.
I am a certified and highly experienced examiner of DELF-DALF and trainer of DELF-DALF examiners
I have taught both French and English in France (lycée Jules Ferry, Paris), as well as in British schools, both primary (Colet Court) and secondary (St Paul's Boys School, The Grey Coat Hospital School), as well as at Oxford University (translation/dissertation methodology). I also have extensive experience of privately tutoring children and adults.
I have also taught literary translation for the French distance learning agency CNED.
I am passionate about grammar and have been working with the communicative (action-based) approach for 16 years, with a keen interest in DELF-DALF French examinations.
I love running conversation classes and to work on literature, but am happy to adapt to the wishes and needs of every student.
